Travel Support

By checking "yes" on the registration form, you can expect to be contacted by a UCAR administrative assistant about your travel plans. The following guidelines apply to travel support:

Travel support is provided by approval of the organizers. It includes costs of domestic travel (airfare and ground transportation), lodging for the nights of November 26, 27, and 28), per diem or meals for days during the workshop, and one half day of per diem on both travel days.  The meeting will begin on the 27th at 8:30 am. We will finish our work together on the 29th at noon, in time for flights back home on the 29th.

Air travel: Participants should book their own air travel. The cost will be reimbursed (up to $500) upon presentation of receipts to UCAR.  Please make your travel arrangements as soon as possible so that you can get the lowest possible airfare.

Ground Transportation: UCAR will reimburse a maximum of $100 for ground transportation, which is the round trip ticket cost between Denver International Airport and Boulder on the Boulder SuperShuttle, and the round trip between your home or office and departure airport.

Lodging: A room will be reserved for you by UCAR at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boulder at 3030 Center Green Drive. The Inn is located adjacent to the UCAR Center Green Conference Facility.

Meals: Lodging at the Residence Inn includes a full breakfast and an evening social hour. The Workshop will include lunch and dinner on Tuesday, and lunch on Wednesday (dinner on your own).
